Frequently Asked Question
Q1: What is the difference between ”Product development by RBS/ORG” and ”Labs” cost planning?
A1: A forecast row in ”Product development by RBS” is always tied to certain program. In ”Labs” forecasting, the cost is shared, and not tied to a program. Labs cost can be allocated to certain programs using reports.
Q2: Why I cannot see a program / project that exists in the system?
A2: The status of the project can be ”draft” which means it is not open for forecasting. Second alternative is that it has been mapped to a product category, where you do not have access. The best way to solve this issue is to contact your admin user.
Q3: Why only part of my forecast rows can be deleted (i.e. they have trash can icon visible in the beginning of the row)?
A3: If a forecast row has history data, meaning it has values in past periods, it cannot be deleted.
Q4: I deleted a forecast row that I actually wanted to keep. Can I get it back somehow?
A4: Yes. Data is always marked as deleted, but exists in the database. You can contact your admin user to restore the data.
